Meet the team

Josie

Josie has a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy and has over 11 years experience as a physiotherapist. She works as a Highly Specialist Physiotherapist for the NHS dealing with complex musculoskeletal pain and injuries.

Josie is also trained in Western Acupuncture with the AACP, has a diploma in musculoskeletal medicine and is a qualified APPI Pilates instructor. She is currently completing a Masters in Musculoskeletal Management with Sheffield Hallam University.

In her spare time, Josie enjoys weight training and running. She has completed the Leeds and York marathons.

Aoife

Originally from Ireland, Aoife studied Health and Society in Dublin City University and later pursued her Masters in Physiotherapy in Teesside University.

Aoife works as a Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist in the NHS and has a keen interest in sports injuries and has a level 4 qualification in strength and conditioning. She also has experience working with rugby teams and is a qualified pilates instructor with APPI.

She has played sports from a very young age including Gaelic football and Camogie. Aoife also loves hiking and ventured into new sports by completing the Windermere Triathlon.

Hannah

Hannah is originally from North Yorkshire. She graduated from Sunderland University with a First Class Honours degree in Physiotherapy.

She currently works as a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist within the NHS and has a particular interest in Clinical Pilates. Hannah holds her Level 3 APPI Pilates qualification alongside a Level 3 in Sports Massage. This means she brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her classes.

When she is not at work, Hannah likes weight training, dancing and making the most of the great outdoors.

Olivia

Olivia graduated with an MSc in Physiotherapy at Teesside university, studying alongside our current physiotherapist, Aoife. Before qualifying as a physiotherapist, she completed a BSc in Sport Science: Injury Management, giving her a strong foundation in movement, performance and injury rehabilitation.

Alongside her physiotherapy qualifications, Olivia is trained in Sports Massage, Acupuncture and Exercise Rehabilitation.

She also works within Sunderland and South Tyneside NHS Foundation Trust, bringing valuable NHS experience and evidence-based practice to every patient she treats.
